Radionovela Series (in Spanish only)

Talking about Vaccines (Hablando de Vacunas) is a six-episode Spanish-language radionovela drama series for radio. Designed to engage and educate Spanish-speaking parents on the importance of immunizing children in the first 24 months of life to protect them from serious vaccine-preventable diseases, the series follows a Hispanic Spanish-speaking family in the United States as they are confronted with issues that arise while navigating the process of immunizing Carlitos, the newest member of the family.

This educational tool can be used as a public service announcement and can be placed on Spanish-language radio stations. Healthcare professionals can also use this tool in waiting rooms to teach parents about the importance of infant immunizations.

Recommended audience: Parents of children age 2 years and younger

Timing of announcement: This novela series can be used year-round in association with releases of information about childhood immunization.
