Tropical Storm Isidore

With sustained winds of 65 miles per hour and heavy rains, the remnant of Hurricane Isidore was already battering the coast of Louisiana on the evening of September 25, hours before the eye of the storm was expected to make landfall. As much as 20 inches of rain is expected in some areas.

Tropical Storm Isidore is bringing heavy rains and high winds to the Louisiana Gulf Coast on September 25, 2002. Moving northward at roughly 12 miles per hour, Isidore is packing sustained winds of 65 miles per hour and is expected to bring upwards of 20 inches of rain to Louisiana. The eye of the storm is predicted to make landfall in the early morning hours of Sept. 26.
