NIOSH-Occupational Energy Research Program (OERP) This website presents an overview of the occupational research conducted by NIOSH under the OERP. The reader will find information addressing studies conducted internally by NIOSH staff and studies conducted externally through NIOSH-supported contracts, grants, and cooperative agreements. The information on this website is current as of October 2006. The DOE Office of Health Studies (EH-51) serves as the primary DOE liaison to NIOSH. This office also oversees the DOE worker surveillance cooperative agreement projects.
