Harm reduction resources for health care providers

HIV test workshop and prevention counseling workshop
These workshops will assist health care providers and others who work with people at risk for HIV to develop the skills necessary to provide HIV prevention counseling.

Motivational Interviewing workshop
Motivational Interviewing is a client-centered, directive method for enhancing intrinsic motivation to change by exploring and resolving ambivalence.

Community Health Outreach Workers (CHOW)
CHOW meetings, sponsored by the HIV/AIDS Program of Public Health - Seattle & King County, are for outreach workers and other line staff who interact with low-income people who are at risk for or have substance use/abuse problems.
