eCivis

eCivis provides access to GrantLocator, a database of research funding opportunities for local governments: “eCivis is dedicated to helping local governments improve their grants success through expert grant research, information, grant training, and technology.”


Intranet resources for King County employees:
  • Community of Science
    Available only to University of Washington (UW) affiliates, via the HealthLinks website, Community of Science’s (COS) comprehensive funding database holds over 22,000 records, representing over 400,000 funding opportunities totaling over $33 billion. To access COS, users must first log on using their University of Washington NetID.

  • Foundation Center Search
    Interactive and searchable database covering 80,000 grant makers. The Foundation Directory Online is available at the Central Library from any library computer. To access go to the Seattle Public Library website; Library Collections; Databases and Websites; View databases A-Z; scroll down to "Foundation Directory Online."

  • HealthLinks Grant Seeker Toolkit
    A useful resource for information on funding opportunities, grant writing, and career development. Some databases are access restricted.
