EPA's Planned Compliance Assistance Activities for Fiscal Year (FY) 2006 (PDF) (48K, 2 pages, About PDF). EPA has planned 231 compliance assistance activities and projects for FY 2006. This assistance helps users implement new regulations; address compliance issues related to existing regulations; or address geographical, national, regional, local, or facility-specific environmental issues.

Highlights include the following.

Some of EPA's compliance assistance is designed to meet the needs of specific economic sectors. During FY 2006, the most frequently addressed sector will continue to be the combined public sector (federal, state and local governments, including federal facilities), followed by education (including kindergarten through 12th grade, and colleges and universities), and Tribes. Other sectors addressed include agriculture, animal feeding operations, construction, healthcare, realtors, and small businesses.
