Briefing on the International Conference on Financing for Development , March 15

Under Secretary of State for Economics, Business, and Agricultural Affairs Alan P. Larson will brief journalists on Friday, March 15 at 2:00 p.m. on the UN’s International Conference on Financing for Development, to be held in Monterrey, Mexico, March 18 through 22. The briefing will be held in the State Department Briefing Room (Room 2209). Press interested in attending should arrive at the 23rd Street entrance.

Mr. Larson will address the objectives of the conference and the goals of the US delegation. A question and answer period will follow his presentation.

Media representatives may cover this event upon presentation of either (1) a U.S. government-issued identification card (Department of State, White House, Congress, Department of Defense, or Foreign Press Center), (2) a photo ID issued by the employing media organization, or (3) a letter on official letterhead from their news organization verifying their employment as a journalists, accompanied by an official photo ID (driver’s license or passport).
