a glance: Hepatitis
A virus can easily be spread to others
in the same household or by eating/drinking
contaminated foods or water. Hepatitis
B virus is spread through contact with
blood and body fluids of infected individuals.
Currently
there are only vaccines for Hepatitis
A and Hepatitis B which are serious liver
diseases. Both the Hepatitis A and B
vaccines are much safer than getting
either disease. And, not only can Hepatitis
B vaccine prevent Hepatitis B, it is
the first anti-cancer vaccine because
it can prevent a form of liver cancer.
