ARTCC CENTER WEATHER SERVICE UNIT

The Seattle Center Weather Service Unit (ZSE CWSU),
co-located with the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) Seattle Air Route Traffic
Control Center (ARTCC), is focused on providing meteorological advice and consultation
to center operations personnel and other designated FAA air traffic facilities,
terminal, and Flight Service Stations within the ARTCC area of responsibility.
Special emphasis is given to those weather conditions that would be hazardous to
aviation, would impede the flow of air traffic, or would cause significant ground
and/or airborne delays.
