Emergency AES Outage - Production Region
**********************************************************************
The AES Production Region will undergo an emergency outage for
4 hours beginning at 6:00 PM EST Friday, February 2, 2007.
The region will be restored by 10:00 PM EST Friday, February 2, 2007.
During this outage, incoming AES shipments will be stored in a queue
and once the region is restored processing will continue and messages
will be returned to the filers.
The AES Development Team will be conducting an emergency fix related
to Fatal AES Response Code 641: Quantity 1 Must Be Greater Than Zero
for shipments where the Unit of Measure is X (No Unit of Measure
Required). This message is being generated in error.
AES Filers may submit Non-Licensed shipments under the AES Downtime
Policy during this outage. Licensed shipments must be held until the
system is restored and an AES ITN is received. Once the AES is
restored all AES transactions for shipments that moved under the
AES Downtime Policy must be filed along with any new AES transactions.
