 AES Transmissions on Fridays

Over the last few months the Automated Export System (AES) has seen an
               increase in export transmissions on each Friday between 1:00 - 8:00pm
               EST.  Unfortunately, this has caused a slow down in response time 
               during that period.  While the AES Developers continue to work to 
               resolve the slow downs, we are requesting that filers submit their 
               transmissions outside the above time period on Fridays when possible.
               The AES will continue to process transmissions sent between 
               1:00 - 8:00pm EST on Fridays, however filers may experience longer 
               than usual response times until the issue is resolved.

Since the AES mainframe is not down, the Downtime Policy should not 
               be used during the Friday slow period.  The Downtime Policy is 
               reserved for major system failures.  Your transactions will be 
               processed, but it may take longer than usual.
