 Invalid AES Response Messages Generated on June 12, 2006

On June 12, 2006 the AES generated a number of invalid response 
               messages.  As of June 13th, the issue has been resolved. 
The following response messages were affected:
Response Code: 030     Fatal Error  -  Header USPPI ID Must Be Numeric
               Response Code: 031     Fatal Error  -  Trailer USPPI ID Must Be Numeric
               Response Code: 076     Compliance Alert  -  USPPI Can't Be Changed Post 
               Departure
               Response Code: 227     Fatal Error  -  Forwarding Agent Party Missing
             
Several AES filers may have received these response messages in error 
               or had problems receiving their Internal Transaction Number (ITN) for 
               a number of shipments.

Filers who received Response Codes 030, 031 and 227 in error must 
               resend their shipments in order to receive their ITNs.
Filers who received Response Code 076 in error should ignore the 
               compliance alert.
Filers who had problems receiving ITNs yesterday must resend their 
               shipments in order to receive the ITNs.
