Very helpful information. I rarely use standard clip art, yet limited budget projects can look quite good with simple line drawings. I have found that my graphics staff does a nice job with adding a color wash or by colorizing some portions of the line art. It sort of spruces it up. Also, I have added a drop shadow to give a "more-in-depth" look to standard clip art. After this project's completion, I will give NIFL an overview of what sources worked well in terms of health literacy effectiveness. Could save you all a few steps at a later date. Well, batting down the hatches as Maryland prepares for Isabelle. I wish all NIFL folks in the mid-Atlantic region a safe next few days. Regards, Jann Jann Keenan, Ed.S.
