Visit the LINCS Health & Literacy Special Collection <http:// www.worlded.org/us/health/lincs> for lesson plans developed by teachers and learners (click on mini-grants). This past summer the LINCS Health & Literacy Special Collection offered stipends to ABE and ESOL teachers and learners to develop health literary lessons using the Internet. Three of these lessons (along with teacher reflections and student responses) were web-published for others to use and learn from. We are in the process of web-publishing more and are encouraging teachers to submit their lessons and comment on their experiences. I am interested in hearing from you about how helpful you find lesson ideas in terms of your own health literacy work. If you visit the site (click on mini-grants to find the teacher/learner developed lessons), then send me an email with your comments <skurtz@worlded.org>. - Sabrina ----------------------------------------- Sabrina Kurtz-Rossi, Project Director LINCS Health & Literacy Special Collection World Education 44 Farnsworth Street Boston, MA 02110 617-482-9485
