Warner Mountain Lookout

 Special Note for Winter Rentals
  • Winter access is moderate to difficult. Travel across snow can be up to 10 miles in length and difficult (may require a full day of travel). Experience in cross-country skiing or snowshoes travel is highly recommended.
  • Refunds will not be granted due to weather or snow conditions which may make access extremely challenging
  • No smoking is allowed in the lookout tower.

 Area Attractions...
Warner Mountain Lookout's 14 ft X 14 ft cabin is perched atop a 41-foot tower. This replica of an old cupola-style lookout, sits on a high vantage point of Warner Ridge.

LOCATION: Approximately 75 miles SE of Eugene, OR

ACCESS: Follow State Highway 58 to FS Road 21 and proceed to FS Road 2129 to spur road 439 (access is by skis, snowshoes or snowmobiles, a distance of 6-10 miles).

ELEVATION: 5,800 feet

FURNISHINGS: Propane stove, table, chairs, single bed, two-way radio (for emergency use)

SEASON AVAILABLE: Mid- November to early May.

STAY LIMIT: Minimum stay of 1 night for weeknights, and 2 nights for weekends, with a maximum stay of 7 nights

PRICE: $65.00 per night

CHECK IN/OUT: Check in at 1:00 p.m.; Check out at 12:00 p.m.

CABIN CAPACITY: 4 people (No pets allowed).

BRING: water, personal belongings

SANITATION FACILITIES: An outhouse is located outside the building
