Partner Profile
McCormick Distilling Company has distinguished itself from the rest of the spirit industry through its commitment to bettering the environment. Beginning with the 2006 creation of a new division, Earth Friendly Distilling Company, the company has been making significant strides to improve its environmental impact. The company started by creating paper and electronics recycling centers at all of its facilities, and by implementing other company-wide protocols to encourage employee recycling. As these grassroots efforts took hold, McCormick assembled a "Green Group" committee of employees to help lead the company's efforts to improve environmental performance and increase operating efficiencies. Recently, McCormick joined the EPA's Green Power Partnership with a green power purchase of renewable energy certificates equivalent to 100% of its electricity usage for three years. The success of McCormick's 360 Vodka, the first premium spirit to combine superior quality with environmental responsibility, reaffirms its pledge to be the leading environmentally-conscious distillery in the U.S. Located in historic Weston, Missouri, McCormick Distilling was founded in 1856 and is the oldest continuously operated distillery in the U.S. The McCormick portfolio of products includes nationally and internationally distributed brands such as McCormick Vodka, Tequila Rose, Tarantula Tequila, McCormick Irish Cream Liqueur, Wiser's Deluxe Canadian Whiskey, and Polar Ice Vodka, along with the company's first ever eco-luxury brand, 360 Vodka.
