Partner Profile Maine Energy Investment Corporation (MEIC) is a small, statewide 501c3 nonprofit based in Brunswick, Maine. Its mission is to mainstream clean energy products through implementation and market development programs. MEIC brings "early adopters" together with the tools, information and support they need to implement renewable energy technologies today. MEIC has purchased 100 percent of its electricity supply from a local green power supplier since 2003 and today is purchasing 100 percent wind power. "Buying green power is part of making business decisions that reflect the values we place on a clean, safe, and sustainable environment," said Erika Morgan, MEIC's President. "Green power is a simple, inexpensive means of taking responsibility for the environmental impact of our own corporate actions. We present this option to others and are committed to practicing what we preach."
