Partner Profile Encore Ceramics, of Grants Pass, Oregon, is the only ceramic tile manufacturer able to claim that its products are made from 100 percent green energy. The company purchases renewable energy certificates and has a 29 kW solar PV system, one of the ten largest systems in the Pacific Northwest. The company's objective is to demonstrate that manufacturers with energy intensive processes can operate profitably without contributing to global warming. The greatest benefit to the company, and to the rest of the planet, is no carbon emissions.
