ROAD CONDITIONS
Sevenmile-Gooseberry Road Construction - Phase Two - June 11, 2008
Phase 2 of the Sevenmile-Gooseberry road construction is set to begin in the coming weeks. Access through the project will be limited during construction. Road closures will be in place as follows:
Monday – Thursday 8 AM to 12 PM
Monday – Thursday 1 PM to 5 PM
Friday 8 AM to 12 PM
Gated roads on the Fillmore Ranger District are closed except for Maple Hollow and Willow Creek (the snow was too deep to access those). Gate closures are meant to prevent full size vehicles from using the roads, not to prevent use by snowmobiles, ATVs, horse or foot traffic.
Gated roads on the Beaver Ranger District are kept open for snowmobile access, which is good now.

Snowpack Reports
Utah Snotel Sites - The Natural Resources Conservation Service installs, operates and maintains an extensive, automated system designed to collect snowpack and related climatic data in the Western United States and Alaska. The primary purpose of collecting this data is to monitor and forecast the water supply in the Western United States and Alaska.
