PREPAID HEALTH CARE ADVISORY COUNCIL MEMBERS
 Paul
Tom has been a member of the Hawaii Prepaid Health Care Advisory Council
since 1985 and currently serves as its Chairperson. Mr. Tom is President
of Benefit Plan Consultants (Hawaii), Inc. which was incorporated in Hawaii
in 1965, providing consulting and actuarial services for employee benefit
plans. The firm specializes in health and pension benefits for jointly managed
trust funds, corporate, association, and public employee benefit plans.
Mr. Tom serves as senior health benefits consultant on various jointly managed
trust funds, employee organizations, corporate and association plans. Active
in the employee benefits field for 22 years, Mr. Tom has an additional 16
years of property and casualty insurance experience in claims investigations,
underwriting, marketing, reinsurance and administration.
