Proposed Rules
- On Friday June 15, 2007, the Hawai`i Civil Rights Commission (HCRC) held a public hearing on proposed rules that would amend its administrative rules on sexual and ancestry harassment. At the conclusion of the public hearing, the Commission continued the rulemaking to Friday June 22, 2007, at 8:00 a.m., for decision-making.
This week an HCRC Commissioner suffered a painful loss and will be unable to attend the Friday meeting. The Commissioner asked that decision-making be postponed. The Commission will vote on whether to reschedule decision-making to allow her time for bereavement.
