Download QWRS Version 3.0.0
QWRS Version 3.0.0 has launched. If you are using Versions 2.0.0 or 2.1.1 you MUST upgrade to Version 3.0.0.
System Requirements:
- Microsoft Windows compatible PC with a Pentium processor, recommended 200 MHz or faster
- Windows 95 or above with latest service packs applied
- 256 MB of RAM
- 20 MB of free hard disk space
Step 1: Uninstall QWRS VB Version 2.0.0 to 2.1.1. To uninstall, go to your Windows Desktop and select Start, Control Panel, Add or Remove Programs, select QWRS and click on the Remove button. Only the QWRS program is removed. The employer database, transmit and work files will remain in their respective directories.
Step 2: Download QWRS 3.0.0 Install.exe. Click the “Download” button to download the QWRS Version 3.0.0 software program.
Step 3: We recommend you run your anti-virus program on the download file
Step 4: Install the program. At this point, close any other applications running. Run the Install.exe and follow the setup instructions.
Step 5: Prepare Transmit File. If you were using Version 2.0.0 or 2.1.1, you must “Prepare Transmit File” using QWRS Version 3.0.0 before sending your file to UI.
For Single filers, start the QWRS software program, open your employer database and enter the employee wage data. Next, click on the Prepare Transmit File button to create the file to send to UI. Follow the instructions in the User’s Manual for “Transmitting for Single Filers.”
For Multiple filers, start the QWRS program, open an employer database and enter the employee wage data. Next, click on the Prepare Transmit File button to create the file to send to UI for each employer database. When all employer databases have been “transmitted”, click on File, Merge Transmit File, and then Merge files button to create the file to send to UI. Follow the instructions in the User’s Manual for “Transmitting for Multiple Employer Reporting.”
