Current Analysis and Projects in Development

Projects are listed alphabetically

Comments from the public are welcomed and encouraged at the time of scoping, and again if the analysis goes through a "review and comment" period for 30 days (45 days for Environmental Impact Statements or EISs). All documents that are subject to appeal have a legal notice published in the newspaper of record, the Hoosier Times (Sunday) or the Perry County News for projects on the Tell City Ranger District.  The first day of the 30 days starts the day after the legal notice appears. EISs have a 45-day comment period, and the period begins when a Notice of Availability is published in the Federal Register.

This document is designed specifically to help interested persons better understand NEPA. The document can be printed/downloaded from: http://www.nepa.gov/nepa/Citizens_Guide_Dec07.pdf.
