4/27/2004 Diesel Fuel Sulfur Inputs for the Draft NONROAD2004 Model used in the 2004 Nonroad Diesel Engine Final Rule The following diesel sulfur inputs were used in the NONROAD model Options (.OPT) files to generate the national inventories that support the final rule. These inputs are described in the rulemaking Regulatory Impact Analysis. Due to the different sulfur levels for land-based equipment versus recreational marine, separate model runs need to be done for these two types of diesel equipment in the model. NOTE: For use in the NONROAD OPT file, you must divide these PPM values by 10,000 to convert them from PPM to Percent sulfur that is expected by the model. E.g., 2318 ppm would be entered in the OPT file as 0.2318 percent sulfur.
