Peer Assistance Services (SBA Grantee)

Description:

Peer Assistance Services is a non-profit agency that provides substance abuse prevention and intervention services in workplaces and communities.  In particular, its Workplace Prevention Services (WPS) employee assistance program assists Colorado small businesses in their efforts to reduce the negative effects of drugs and alcohol on the workplace.  Services include drug-free workplace policy consultation and implementation assistance; supervisor training and employee education; confidential assessment and referral; and short-term problem solving assistance to employees who are having personal problems that may affect their performance at work.
