State of Montana

State: Montana

Description: STATE OF MONTANA is a very large and sparsely populated state, and the majority of businesses are small and have no formal employee assistance programs. Therefore, most businesses rely on the community-based programs for providing education, early intervention, and treatment when needed. All 56 counties in Montana have some level of community-based, publicly-funded chemical dependency services available. Several of the programs in larger communities are available to provide employee assistance to local business. Services generally provided include screening, assessment and referral, outpatient counseling and intensive outpatient services.
