Description: BAND (BUSINESS AGAINST NARCOTICS AND DRUGS) Developed by the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce, BAND has developed two booklets; the "Step-by-Step Guide to Develop Your Drug Free Workplace Program" which is supplemented by "Drug Free Workplace Program and Supporting Policies." The booklets are part of a kit, which includes lists of numerous resources for recommended drug testing laboratories, substance abuse information publishers, crime and prevention groups, the chamber's partners and a list of available education materials. BAND serves as a support service for Metropolitan Dade county companies in developing workplace substance abuse programs. The organization also offers seminars, a resource library and a variety of material to assist companies.
