Drugs Don't Work (Arkansas)

State: Arkansas

Description:

The Arkansas Department of Human Services, Division of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention, was awarded a Block Grant from the Office of Alcohol, Drug Abuse and Mental Health Services. These funds were provided to the Office of the Governor to conduct a DRUGS DON'T WORK project, modeled after the campaign of the same name developed by the President's Drug Advisory Council and the Partnership for a Drug-Free America.

Through a sub-grant to the Arkansas State Chamber of Commerce, DRUGS DON'T WORK targets small to medium sized private sector businesses, assisting them with informational and educational material and program opportunities, the development of workplace substance abuse policies, and other activities.
