Wilderness Volunteer Opportunities
Desolation Wilderness
Do you have a deep love for the value, beauty and integrity of
the Wilderness?
Would you like to give something back to the Wilderness Area you love so much?
Desolation Wilderness can use your help! The Forest Service is looking for
a few dedicated volunteers who love the outdoors and talking with people, and
who are dedicated to preserving our nation's most pristine natural resource,
the
Wilderness!
Come to one of our meetings to learn about the different Volunteer
Opportunities available within this Wilderness Volunteer Program. Learn
more about the origins of the Wilderness and the Wilderness Act. Learn what is required to
become a Volunteer and how your help is important to the preservation of
the
Wilderness!
