(March 11, 2008) Washington, D.C. – For the second year in a row, the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC) honored Congresswoman Lucille Roybal-Allard (CA-34) for her commitment to the Latino business community. The chamber’s proclamation recognizes the congresswoman for her “common bond and strong commitment to the growth of Hispanic entrepreneurship” and her active participation “in diversity initiatives that encourage increased opportunities for Hispanics in the area of business.” Pictured in the photo from left to right: Elizabeth Gallagher, Vice Chair, Board of Directors, USHCC; Congresswoman Lucille Roybal-Allard (CA-34); and David Lizárraga, Chairman of the USHCC Board of Directors.
