Description
The American Art Therapy Association (AATA) was founded in 1969. It is dedicated to the use of art therapy and the development of professional standards of practice for art therapists and research. The Association provides information on Association-approved programs of art therapy education and clinical programs. AATA also serves as a clearinghouse for information on the field, and disseminates publications and audiovisual materials.
