The Whitman Mission Visitor Center includes a small museum, book store, and auditorium. It is open daily except for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day.
 

VISITOR CENTER HOURS

Summer Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Rest of the Year: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The Visitor Center is open everyday, 7 days a week, except for Thanksgiving, Christmas day, and New Year's day.

Did You Know?
Mojave National Preserve was established in 1994 through the California Desert Protection Act. Now managed by the National Park Service, the area was known as the East Mojave Scenic Area, under the Bureau of Land Management.
