which may be subject to appeal (request to a higher authority for
administrative review of a decision).

Pre-decisional Objections
Proposed Forest Service decisions regarding hazardous fuel reduction projects are subject to a pre-decisional review process. In these cases, the public may submit comments on the project for consideration before the final decision is signed.

Grizzly Bear Amendment
The six national forests in the Greater Yellowstone Area, including
the Shoshone, are amending their forest plans to include direction
for grizzly bear habitat conservation upon delisting of the Yellowstone
grizzly bear, which is being proposed by the Fish and Wildlife Service.
