Parking and Security
If you're traveling on I-85 South . . .
Exit at North Druid Hills Road (Exit 89). Turn left onto North
Druid Hills Road. At the third traffic light, turn right onto
Briarcliff Road. At the fourth traffic light, turn left onto
Clifton Road. CDC is approximately 1 mile on the right at 1600
Clifton Road. Turn right onto CDC Parkway. You will stop at the
first guard station where they will inspect your vehicle. They
will then direct you to the visitors’ parking deck. From here
you will check in with the guards in the Tom Harkin Global Communications
Center’s lobby. Please remember to bring a government-issued picture I.D.
If you're traveling on I-85 North . . .
Exit at North Druid Hills Road (south) (Exit 89). Turn right

If you're traveling on I-75 North or
South . . .
Follow I-75 until it runs into I-85 North. Exit at North Druid
Hills Road (south) (Exit 89). Turn right onto North Druid Hills

Road. At the fourth traffic light, turn left onto Clifton Road.
CDC is approximately 1 mile on the right at 1600 Clifton Road.

Exit at Moreland Avenue (Exit 60). Turn left onto Moreland
Avenue. Moreland becomes Briarcliff Road. Stay on Briarcliff for
approximately 3 miles, and then turn right onto Clifton Road,
just past Sage Hill Shopping Center. CDC is approximately 1 mile
on the right at 1600 Clifton Road. Turn right onto CDC Parkway.
You will stop at the first guard station where they will inspect
your vehicle. They will then direct you to the visitors’ parking
deck. From here you will check in with the guards in the Global
Communications Center’s lobby. Please remember to bring a

If you're traveling on I-20 West . . .
Exit at Moreland Avenue (Exit 60). Turn right onto Moreland
Avenue. Moreland becomes Briarcliff Road. Stay on Briarcliff for
approximately 3 miles, and then turn right onto Clifton Road,

If you’re taking public transportation. . .
Take the North/South MARTA train to Lindbergh Station and transfer to the
Number 6 Emory Bus. Get off on Clifton Road at CDC Parkway and
walk down to the security booth.
Parking and Security Instructions
Smaller Groups Traveling by Car or Van:
Traveling south on Clifton Road, turn right on CDC Parkway.
Bear right and proceed to the security checkpoint. Identify yourself
as a visitor to the Global Health Odyssey Museum. Security officers will ask
to see your picture ID (driver’s license or passport) and will do a quick
scan of the undercarriage of your vehicle. Security officers will then ask
you to open both the truck and the hood of your car for inspection.
You will then be directed to the visitor parking deck (straight ahead).
When you walk into the Tom Harkin Global Communications Center from the
parking deck (ground level), you will be entering the Global
Health Odyssey Museum lobby.
Here you will show your picture ID again and be provided with a security
badge that will give you access to the Global Health Odyssey
Museum.
Large Groups Traveling by Bus:
Traveling south on Clifton Road, turn right on CDC Parkway.
Stop at the security guard station. Identify yourself as visitors
to the Global Health Odyssey Museum. Security officers may do a quick
scan of the bus. All adults over the age of 16 will need to show
picture ID. Proceed around to the circle and drop off the group
in front of the glass doors. Once inside, you will go through
another security checkpoint. Security officers will have badges
waiting for your group. Buses will not fit in the visitor parking area.
Please have your bus driver return to Clifton Road and turn right.
At the next light, turn left at the sign for the Emory Conference
Center (the road is unnamed) and park along the road
that leads to the Emory Conference Center. Please note
that buses may not park at the conference center itself.
We encourage the bus drivers to remain with the vehicle in case
they are asked to move it (this rarely happens).
Please make arrangements to contact your driver when you
are ready to be picked up. The driver may pick your group
up where you were dropped off.
