Sunset is watched by several people atop the lighthouse.

Lighthouse Tower Tours are given whenever possible during the week.

Tower tours available until 1 hour before closing fall, winter and spring (weekends), summer (daily).

Military Personnel $4 (Active Duty With ID)

Fire Island Lighthouse Preservation Society (FILPS) Members $2

Since these program fees are collected by a cooperating association and not by the National Park Service, your Senior Pass (Golden Age Passport) or Access Pass (Golden Access Passport) does not provide a discount at this site.

Special tours can be arranged for your group, including sunset tours. Call the FILPS at 631-661-4876 to discuss needs and availability.

A minimum fee of $100 is needed to arrange a tour for ten individuals, plus $10 for each additional person.
Maximum group size for tower tours not to exceed 15 people.
Advance reservations are required.
