Publications:

The Pink Book: Errata, Updates & Clarifications
Epidemiology and Prevention of Vaccine Preventable Diseases
UPDATED 10th Edition, 2nd Printing (February 2008)

Latest Entry: 7/10/08

UPDATE
Appendix B

The tables titled U.S. Vaccines (page B-1) and Latex in Vaccine Packaging (page B-15) have been updated, online, to include Pentacel and Kinrix. (7/10/08)

CLARIFICATION
Rotavirus Chapter

When describing the routine rotavirus vaccine schedule (page 301) the chapter states that "Rotavirus vaccine should not be administered on or after age 32 weeks . . ." This should be interpreted to mean that the last dose may be administered "through" 32 weeks – i.e., as late as 32 weeks and 6 days. (6/2/08)

UPDATE
Anthrax & Smallpox Chapters (Online Version Only)

The Anthrax and Smallpox chapters were eliminated from the 10th Edition of the Pink Book to save space. Because some readers have requested access to these chapters, we have added links to them from the Pink Book webpage. Note that these chapters have not been changed since the 9th Edition. (6/2/08)

ERRATUM
Appendix C
The link to the Vaccine Storage and Handling Toolkit (page C-24) has changed. It is now www2a.cdc.gov/vaccines/ed/shtoolkit/. The CD-ROM may be ordered using the Online Publications Order Form at http://www2a.cdc.gov/nchstp_od/PIWeb/niporderform.asp. NOTE: This applies to the print version of the Pink Book only. The online version contains a direct link to the Toolkit. (5/1/08)
