RAMSTAD RECEIVES LEGISLATIVE SERVICE AWARD

FROM NATIONAL REHABILITATION ASSOCIATION

WASHINGTON – The National Rehabilitation Association presented its 2003 Legislative Service Award to U.S. Rep. Jim Ramstad (MN-3) today at the Association’s annual awards ceremony in Washington. 

Ramstad, who co-chairs the bipartisan House Disability Caucus, received the award from National Rehabilitation Association President Robert McConnell. 

In presenting the award, President McConnell thanked Ramstad for his “continuing support and leadership on behalf of individuals with disabilities.” 

“The National Rehabilitation Association is honored to present this award to Congressman Ramstad in appreciation of his continued commitment to ensuring that individuals with disabilities receive the support and services important in seeking the dignity of work,” said Dr. McConnell.

“This award is also presented to Congressman Ramstad for his leadership in improving opportunities for persons with disabilities through proposed legislative action and policy initiatives,” said Dr. McConnell.
