Oregon Regional Forensic Academies are held in various locations across Oregon each year. These classes provide training to local law enforcement in the identification, collection and preservation of evidence. They are designed for new investigators or as refreshers to more experienced officers.
DPSST will be finalizing the entire 2009 ORFA schedule soon. However, the first class has been announced and will take place in Eugene.
When: Oct. 21 - Oct. 24, 2008
Hours: 8am - 5pm daily
Where: Eugene Emergency Services Training Center
Cost: Free (does not include meals or lodging)
Students must be officers that will respond to and process crime scenes.
