About
What services does this resource provide?
The Structural Genomics Centers for Infectious Diseases apply state-of-the-art high-throughput structural biology technologies to characterize the three dimensional (3-D) atomic structure of targeted proteins from pathogens in the
NIAID Category A-C priority lists and organisms causing emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases
. The targeted proteins are those with an important biological role or potential targets for vaccine and drug development.
The Centers provide the research community with:
Experimental 3-D protein structures
Peptides and other molecular constructs (will be available in early 2009)
Where are services provided?
3-D structures are determined by:
Center for Structural Genomics of Infectious Diseases (CSGID)
(non-Government link)
Seattle Structural Genomics Center for Infectious Diseases (SSGCID)
(non-Government link)
