For healthcare providers seeking tuberculosis (TB) clinical consultation, we recommend that you call the health department TB program in your state.

For patients or the general public seeking information specific to TB medical care, we recommend that you call the health department TB program in your state.

2. General TB Information

For general TB information, the following resources are available.

  1. CDC TB website.

  3. The health department TB program in your state.
     
  4. The American Lung Association (ALA). The ALA will answer general TB-related questions through their online post office.
     
  5. The TB Regional Training and Medical Consultation Centers (RTMCCs).

  1. CDC TB guidelines and recommendations can be viewed and downloaded on the CDC TB website.
     
  2. If you have a question about how to implement CDC guidelines and recommendations, please contact the health department TB program in your state.

5. Training Opportunities

For healthcare providers seeking training opportunities, CDC funds four TB Regional Training and Medical Consultation Centers (RTMCCs). The RTMCCs are regionally assigned to cover all 50 states and the U.S. territories.
