WASHINGTON, June 21, 2007 - SAMS Food Group, Inc., a Bedford Park, Ill., establishment, is recalling approximately 13,300 pounds of beef and chicken base products because the labels were inadvertently switched.

The beef base product contains wheat gluten and soy protein, which are known allergens. Those ingredients are not in the chicken base product and are therefore not declared on the chicken base label.

The following products are subject to recall: [View Labels, PDF Only]
