Mountain Biking Trails

Spring is on its way and we know that many of you are eager to hit the trails.  In order to avoid resource damage to our steeper trails (such as Bruno's Run) our trails manager encourages eager bikers to hold off until after spring thaw has passed.  Check here for updates, so you'll know when the frost is out of the ground.  Thank you for your "Tread Lightly" ethic...

Bruno's Run
This renowned trail is moderately difficult with some short steep hills.

Grand Island
An easy to moderate trail with some sandy spots and rocky hills, Grand Island offers outstanding scenery.  In addition, the relatively easy trails and handy access to rental equipment make Grand Island the perfect place for adventurous individuals and families to experience the fun of mountain biking!

Valley Spur
A range of bicycling opportunities for beginners to experts are offered along the Valley Spur Mountain Bike Route, located six miles southwest of Munising.
