Description
The Gastro-Intestinal Research Foundation was founded in 1962 to help combat gastrointestinal diseases. The Foundation raises funds to support research at the Center for the Study of Digestive Diseases at the University of Chicago Medical Center and to support advanced training for scientists. GIRF also sponsors programs to educate patients and their families.
