Finance Survey 2004

On this page, you will find the results of a survey that was conducted in nine countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan) and nine Russian cities (St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Samara, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Tomsk, Vladivostok, Khabarovsk, and Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk) on how local companies finance their trade and investment deals

BISNIS' 18 representatives in Eurasia went on a mission to obtain practical answers to more than 40 questions. The survey was conducted in Spring 2004. This unique effort was aimed at gaining a better understanding of how Eurasian companies deal with the issue of financing, enabling the U.S. business community to gain an understanding of how Eurasian company approach financing of deals and of the condition of the banking systems in these countries and regions.
