Description: | BISNIS, in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Georgia in the United States, hosted a briefing with the Georgian Ambassador to the United States, Georgia's tourism minister, the head of the Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Georgia program officer for the U.S. Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC). The event, attended by some 60 people, gave participants a unique opportunity to interact with Mr. Sikharulidze, who became Georgia's Ambassador to the USA on 1 March 2006, and other officials, and to receive an update on MCC efforts to implement a $295 million compact in Georgia. | |||||||
