Specific Procurement Processing Stage: Specific Procurement Notice Closing date: 14-3-2008 Notice number: P072394 Abstract: Georgia has received a credit from the International Development Association toward the cost of the Energy Transit Institution Building Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to payments under a contract for supply of Gas Pipeline Monitoring equipment for the Oil and Gas Corporation of Georgia, /Contract No. ICB-5. Georgian Institution Building Development Projects Implementation Unit now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the equipment in following Lots as appended below: Description Lot No. I Dual variable sensing Transmitter for Differential Pressure Flow metering, with communications card interface for GSM Modem Lot No. II Gas Chromatograph Lot No. III Pressure Regulator Valve D200mm RTD Temperature probe for Dual variable sensing Transmitter for Differential Pressure Flow metering The bidders may bid for one or more than one lots under this invitation. Each Lot will be evaluated and contract awarded separately. Bidding will be conducted through the international competitive bidding procedures specified in the World Banks Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries as defined in the Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, dated January 1995, revised January and August 1996, September 1997, and January 1999. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the Georgian Institution Building Development Projects Implementation Unit and inspect the bidding documents at the first address below from 1200 to 1700 hours. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of 200 GEL. Upon request, the bid document will be sent by TNT courier at the bidders expense. Bids must be delivered to the address below not later than 1200 hours on 14 March 2008. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security for the Lot No. I of 3,500 GEL or equivalent amount in US$, for the Lot No. II 5,000 GEL or equivalent amount in US$, and for the Lot No. III 3,500 GEL or equivalent amount in US$. Late bids will be rejected. All bids should be marked do not open before 1200 hours on 14 March 2008. The bidders should inform the Georgian Institution Building Development Projects Implementation Unit about the shipment of bidding documents.
