CARCADE To Enter  Siberian Leasing Market

CARCADE leasing company (Poland) is coming to Siberia. The company has already established 33 offices in 28 cities of Russia. CARCADE is one of the largest companies specialized in cars leasing. The company is a 100-percent subsidiary of Getin Holding S.A. The company concluded leasing agreements totaling US$180 million in 2006. By end of 2008, the company plans to have 54 offices in Russia. New Warehousing Facility to be Launched

Evrocity company plans to put to operation a new warehousing facility with a total space of 6 thousand sq.m. The facility is located in the Tolcmachevo airport, and will be processing 60,000 tons of goods annually. (Source: Expert-Sibir newspaper, 12/05/2007)

BARNAUL

Barnaulsky Brewery to Purchase German Equipment

 

Barnaulsky Brewery signed agreement with Huppmann AG (Germany). According to the agreement, the German company will supply new equipment worth of Euro3.1 million. The renovation program for the brewery for 2007-2010 is estimated RUR 800 million (approx. Euro 23 billion).  (Source: RIA-Sibir, 12/03/2007)

 

New Cattle Breeding Farm Launched

 

The first stage of new cattle breeding farm was constructed in Kuryinsky district of Altai region. The farm is designed to produce up to 6,000 tons of milk, and 147 tons of meat. The project is estimated RUR 150 million. The project has been implementing with the framework of the “Agribusiness Development” national project. (Source: RIA-Sibir, 12/03/2007)

AirUnion to Invest in Airport

 

AirUnion is willing to invest US$6 million in modernization of landing line at the Yemelianovo airport in Krasnoyarsk. The company has been conducting negotiations with Siemens on purchase of light-signal equipment. (Source: RIA REGNUM, 12/03/2007)

Foreign Trade Turnover to Increase

Foreign trade turnover in Omsk region in 2007 is estimated to reach US$ 1.1 billion. Foreign trade operations were conducted with 69 countries. Main countries-partners are Kazakhstan, Kirgizstan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, China, Germany, Lithuania, Hungary, Estonia, and Slovakia. Goods were mostly exported to 57 countries of the world. Mostly, products of chemical industry (73.8 percent), mechanical engineering (10.1 percent), and food products (8.2 percent) were exported. Products were imported from 47 countries. Machines, equipment and vehicles (40.6 percent), food and agricultural products (34.4 percent), fuel and energy products (9.6 percent), chemical industry products (8.6 percent), and metal products (3.8 percent). Mortgage Loans Increased

Banks in Krasnoyarsk region increased mortgage loans 2.5 times in 2007. Loans to individuals totaled up to RUR 76 billion. This amount includes mortgage loans totaling RUR 22 billion. Interest rates declined from 16-18 percent in 2006 to 11-13 percent in 2007. (Source: RIA-Sibir, 12/11/2007)

Technosila to Open Hypermarket

 

Technosila company opened its first hypermarket in Omsk. The company invested US$1.8 million. The hypermarket covers a space of 2.8 thousand sq.m. (Source: RIA-Sibir, 12/13/2007)

 

Equipment Renovation in Agribusiness to Develop in Region

 

By end of 2007, over 400 harvesters and tractors will be bought by regional agribusinesses. Investments in equipment renovation increased from RUR 800 million in 2004 to RUR 1.2 billion in 2006. In 2007, the investments in 2007 will exceed RUR 1.3 billion. (Source: RIA-Sibir, 12/13/2007)
