Visitor Center Activities:
(located at 2nd & Broadway)

Enjoy a Ranger Presentation each day at 10 AM - 45 minute talks on various topics in the visitor center auditorium. Summer only.

See the 30 minute film "Days of Adventure, Dreams of Gold" in the visitor center auditorium at 8, 9, 11 AM & 12, 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 PM. Winter visitors should ask at park headquarters for the movie.

Check the schedule posted in the visitor center for park sponsored evening programs.

 
 
Mascot Saloon regulars - manikins at bar museum
Explore the Mascot Saloon - an authentic 1910 saloon museum where you can almost hear the tinkling of the piano competing with the conversation of hopeful prospectors.  Open daily early May through mid-September, 8 AM - 6 PM at Third and Broadway.
 
Welcome to the Moore House

Visit the historic Moore House and Cabin to experience early homesteading in this lonely valley. Open daily, early May through mid-September, 10 AM to 5 PM at Fifth and Spring Streets.

Did You Know?
During the height of the Klondike Gold Rush, Finnegan's Camp on the Chilkoot Trail was a tent city. There were saloons, restaurants and hotels all housed in tents.
