Drawing on his immigrant heritage, David Dubinsky envisioned a worldwide socioeconomic role for unions. His ideals were a major force in molding the U.S. labor movement. This article profiles the life of David Dubinsky, former President of the International Ladies' Garment Workers' Union and recent inductee into the Labor Hall of Fame.
