Revision of the CPI housing sample and estimators

Changes in concepts and methods being readied for the 1998 revision should smooth the process of index production for shelter services. This article describes the systems, data bases, and procedures that are being developed for the upcoming revision of the Housing survey, and explains the advantages to be derived from each.
